Carrot seed oil revitalizes and tones the skin, stimulates skin cells growth and renewal, maintains the elasticity of skin (thus preventing premature aging), and helps skin stay soft, smooth and young looking. It also helps in cases of dermatitis, eczema and rashes. (Caution: carrot seed oil should be avoided in pregnancy)

Coffee grounds exfoliates dry skin and makes it feel silky smooth.  The antioxidants in coffee have a beneficial role in protecting our skin from the damaging effects of free radicals. Polyphenols, the main type of antioxidants found in coffee, can play a role in reducing oxidation (cell damage) and increasing the effect of other antioxidants (mainly Vitamin E). This in turn helps stimulate the overall antioxidant effect in our body and skin cells. Coffee also reduces the appearance of cellulite

Mandarin essential oil improves the circulation of blood and lymph, particularly below the skin, which keeps the skin rejuvenated and looking young and vibrant. It can also help cure skin disorders, maintain moisture balance in the skin, and diminish scars and stretch marks.

How to make the body scrub:

Stir all ingredients together and apply the mixture to dry skin. Massage thoroughly onto skin, giving extra attention to your problem areas, until the skin becomes slightly red. Rinse the scrub off with lukewarm water without using soap or shower gel.

How often?

Use this homemade body scrub twice a week.
