Raw cane sugar gently cleans and exfoliates, removing dry and dead skin cells and leaving skin smooth and silky.

Almond oil moisturizes skin. Combined with raw sugar, it makes a very effective exfoliator.

Cocoa powder and dark chocolate (with at least 70 percent cocoa content) contain powerful antioxidants which protect your skin from free radical damage, keeping it soft, supple and young looking. They  make a great addition to this body scrub because of their ability to eliminate the dead skin cells and allow for the newly exposed, fresh skin to breathe freely. Moreover, cocoa powder nourishes, tones and detoxifies the skin, fights cellulite and localized fat deposits, and gives the skin a beautiful glow.

How to make the body scrub:

Mix the sugar and cocoa powder together, add in the almond oil and mix until combined. The last ingredient to add will be the chocolate shavings, without stirring for too long. Gently massage the scrub over your body in a circular motion. Rinse well when finished.

How often?

Use this homemade body scrub twice a week.
