I tried #19 and it came out really soupy… Other than the difficult time I had trying to apply it on my face, it feels refreshing^^

And am I supposed to make the cucumber juice or do they sell it?

Fresh is always the best choice, so I recommend that you make it yourself. It’s very easy:
Peel the cucumber, slice off the ends and chop it into large chunks. Place the cucumber chunks into a food processor or blender, and blend on a medium or high speed. Place a strainer over a bowl or pitcher, then line the strainer with cheesecloth. Pour the cucumber puree through the cheesecloth. When most of the liquid has drained through, gather the sides and squeeze any remaining juice from the cheesecloth. You can store fresh cucumber juice in a sealed container inside the refrigerator for one week.

Great tips. Thanks for sharing I’m going to try #11 today 🙂 Hope it’s safe for a breast cancer patient just finishing the treatments.

Hi,
I am sorry to hear that you are having a health issue. I wish you a quick recovery! Yes, the face mask is safe to use as long as you are not allergic to any of its ingredients.

That’s fantastic! I am happy for you that you are well and in the mood to pamper yourself! I can imagine how difficult it must have been. A friend of my mother’s had breast cancer too just a couple of years ago and I know what she went through.
As for the face masks, you can try a different recipe every week (or more often, if you feel like it) and then stick to the one(s) that work best for you.

Thanks a lot dear. I Hope and pray your mother’s friend is living cancer free!
Yes I’m planing to try some of them in different weeks. I was wondering where you get the mud you mention on some of them? And what ingredients it has.
My other question is, if I keep using those Masks for long will I end up getting dry skin? Because I don’t have that much oily skin, it’s a little oily but not much.
Thanks again 🙂

It just happens that I don’t have any white (kaolin) clay around right now, but I do have (lots of) green clay powder :). I just checked the label and it lists the company’s website, so it was easy to find it online here. If you follow the link you can see the mineral composition of the clay, but unfortunately it’s only in Italian (even if you switch the website’s language to English). Anyway, I got mine from a local bio cosmetics store. I am sure you can buy online any clay powder that you might want to use.
As for the other question, the answer is no. Face masks for oily skin don’t change your basic skin type from oily to dry. Some ingredients might have a drying effect especially on combination/oily skin, but generally if you don’t overdo it the drying effect is temporary. What these face masks do is help to remove excess oil, unclog the pores, clean, refresh and soften the skin while preventing blackheads and acne.
If you do feel that one specific face mask recipe is too drying for you, you can always add a few drops of almond oil, which will moisturize and nourish your skin.
